Public speaking class is aim to introduce students to the skills of effective speaking and developing self confident. It made we to write and present a variety of speeches. That have six assessment would be we do it which is, informative speech, persuasive speech, impromptu speech, forum, group discussion and blog writing. Some people are hear about English class will made they fear include me also. But public speaking class is goods and made me to develop high self confident to speak in English. For the my last task, we are given to write a blog about " HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT PUBLIC SPEAKING CLASS?
I would like to comment every task that I have done it. For the first task is informative speech. I have to make a movie maker about my personal background and need to present it in the class. I'm interested with this task because it made me to speak and present in English about myself, my family, and my background life. Besides that, we also can speak English with confidently.
Second task is persuasive speech. This task is pairing version. We have to build an example of new own company and own product for the industry. We need to persuade other people to interested with our new product. This task made we more to practice how to interact and communicate with other people outside there as a business students. It also can develop our credibility in communicate with other.
Third task is impromptu speech, we have to speak in English at a public with chosen the topic at the same time. We need to present the topic in spontaneous within a time is 2 minutes. I'm feel this task is so challenging to me because it make me to think an idea in English with quickly.
Fourth task is Forum. This task is grouping version. We need to find, explain and discuss an issues from outsides there such as teenagers runaway, baby dumping, Mat rempit and others. We have to make it like a TV shows. This task is looking good because it can build our teamwork with other in group. Besides that, we can know a few of an issues for the every group in their forum.
Fifth task is group discussion. It also grouping task. Make our teamwork more uses in a group.We have to discuss the topic that are given by lecturer. We need to become a panel and discuss the effective problem solving from the topic.
Finally is blog writing. we have to write a topic about feel of public speaking class. All of the assessment are have done by me. I'm like to says very thanks to my lecture Madam Zetti Adela because willing to teach our class with as soon as effective to me. I'm get to increase my confident level, English spoken and communicate with other people with effectiveness. I'm feel public speaking class is very important for a person because English education is famous in global world.
